Quality Assurance Engineer
Essential Skillset:
- Hands-on experience in
test automation using Selenium and/or Playwright
- Strong working knowledge of Java and/or TypeScript
- Proven experience in API automation testing using Rest
Assured and/or Playwright
- Familiarity with automation script development using Eclipse and/or Visual Studio Code
- Practical exposure to GitLab and/or GitHub,
along with CI/CD pipeline integration
- Good understanding of software testing processes, test design
techniques, and defect lifecycle
- Experience working in
Agile/Scrum environments, with participation in sprint planning, daily
stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Roles and Responsibilites:
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium/Playwright.
- Perform requirement analysis, test planning, scripting, and execution.
- Ensure software quality through QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks in Java and/or Spring Boot.
- Conduct API testing using Rest Assured and validate data in MongoDB.
- Utilize Eclipse IDE for test development and debugging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and improve test coverage.
- Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Prioritize and plan testing activities
- Play the role of test engineer: Design, develop, and execute tests
- Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved
- Track defects and helps troubleshoot errors.
