Quality Assurance Head

Role Overview :

As the QA Head based in Kanpur, you will serve as the primary architect of quality assurance strategy, overseeing the end-to-end testing lifecycle to ensure the delivery of robust, high-performance software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product managers, and senior stakeholders to align testing protocols with business objectives. Your leadership will directly influence the reliability of our platforms, ensuring that every release meets stringent quality standards while optimizing the development lifecycle for maximum efficiency and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies and frameworks that enhance product stability and reduce time-to-market for critical business features.

- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement in testing methodologies.

- Collaborate with development leads to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless deployment and early detection of defects.

- Oversee the execution of complex test plans, including functional, regression, and performance testing, to ensure alignment with client requirements and industry benchmarks.

- Analyze quality metrics and performance data to provide actionable insights to senior management, driving data-informed decisions regarding product releases.

- Manage stakeholder expectations by maintaining transparent communication regarding project timelines, risk mitigation, and quality assurance milestones.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and scaling automated testing frameworks using industry-standard tools and scripting languages.

- Proven ability to lead and inspire technical teams, with strong interpersonal skills to manage cross-departmental collaboration effectively.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on identifying systemic bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions.

- A solid educational foundation in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline from a reputable institution.

- High level of adaptability and readiness to work on-site in Kanpur, maintaining a hands-on approach to team management and operational oversight.
