What You'll Do
As our Quality Assurance Inspector, you'll be responsible for ensuring products meet customer, engineering, and regulatory requirements through inspection, measurement, and documentation activities.
Ideal Candidate
Someone with quality inspection experience who enjoys working on the production floor, using precision measuring equipment, reviewing drawings, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements. This is an inspector-level position and is not an engineering or senior-level quality role.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Manage and maintain the gage calibration system
✅ Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
✅ Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gages, and related inspection equipment
✅ Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing routers
✅ Identify and communicate quality concerns, nonconforming materials, and process issues
✅ Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and maintain accurate quality documentation
✅ Support customer audits and interact professionally with customer representatives
✅ Assist with troubleshooting quality-related issues and continuous improvement efforts
✅ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of quality inspection experience
- Experience managing and maintaining calibration systems
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Proficiency using inspection and measuring equipment
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to meet vision requirements and work safely in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
⭐ Aerospace manufacturing experience
⭐ CMM experience
⭐ Associate degree in a related field
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and work on concrete flooring throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds independently
- Ability to perform inspections requiring close visual attention and accurate measurements
