Main Purpose
Ensure Quality and Food Safety metrics during distribution and Transportation processes at the Distribution Centers across US.
Position Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Degree
Technical Degree or High School or relevant experience (Minimum)
Experience
Data bases
Microsoft Office
Skills for use measuring equipment and special meters
Technical skills in Quality Control / Assurance, desiderable in Produce
Language
Bilingual required
Key Job Accountabilities (3-5)
1.
Conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required inspections to the product to his/her supervisor.
2.
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
3.
Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
4.
Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
5.
Continuously inspect and audit trucks and warehouse good practices (as FIFO, segregation) and conditions.
