An on-site quality assurance inspector maintaining product quality on a manufacturing shop floor: monitoring and logging quality issues in the PLEX ERP system, performing incoming part inspections with gages and equipment, and supporting production quality activities. Reports to the Quality Manager.
Job Description – Quality Assurance Inspector
Reports to: Quality Manager
Qualification:
A minimum of 2 years of college or equivalent o Understanding of Quality Operating System (QOS)
Duties:
- Participation in maintaining quality on the shop floor
- Monitor and record quality issues on the floor and maintain log in PLEX ERP system
- Perform incoming inspections on parts using various gages and equipment available.
- Monitor, record and report sort and support production quality activates on the floor
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
