Quality Assurance Inspector

POSITION OBJECTIVE
QA Inspector is responsible for performing daily QA testing, in-process and final inspections, grading garments to the customer’s specific requirements, and weekly testing and incoming inspections, as needed. The QA Inspector will utilize the garment tracking system to ensure customer requirements are met and product traceability maintained.

JOB DESCRIPTION/ REQUIREMENTS:

Perform daily QA testing; garment cleanliness, ESD, In-Process, and Final Inspections
Perform weekly/monthly/periodic QA testing activities
Perform additional QA inspections as needed.
Inspect garments for nonconformities to the garment grading schedule and customer specific requirements.
Scan all inspected garments into the garment tracking system
Utilize Excel/Word for data entry of testing/inspection results
Documentation review
Communicate issues to the QA Supervisor/Manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Must be at least 18 years old
Able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to wear cleanroom gowning of hood, coverall, boots, goggles, face mask, and gloves.
Computer knowledge of Excel and Word preferred
Detail orientated and ability to learn
Work in a team environment
Maintain productivity; Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and complete required tasks.
Candidate must be able to work 8 to 10 hours daily and Saturdays (as needed).

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Experience in Quality beneficial
