Quality Assurance Lead
Summary
Leads quality assurance for Brightspeed's eCommerce team, designing and running end-to-end tests on web content and functionality, validating copy, design, links, and dynamic data across devices, and tracking defects through launch. Works with AEM content publishing and tools like Figma, Jira, Confluence, TestFlight, and BrowserStack.
Brightspeed is looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to join our team! As a Quality Assurance Lead for Brightspeed's eCommerce team, you will be responsible for ensuring flawless execution of digital content that supports acquisition, revenue, and retention goals for Brightspeed. This position will lead quality assurance efforts in support of the development of digital content and functionality, ensuring deliverables are accurate, coded correctly, versioned appropriately, can work on multiple devices, and will render according to the design.
In this role, you’ll partner with eCommerce Product Owner team, Content Authors, Tech Dev and Creative Designers to systematically review and validate the copy, design, links, dynamic data and other elements that enable the communications we deliver to our customers.
As A Quality Assurance Lead, Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Designing and performing end-to-end quality assurance tests on web content and functionality with a keen eye for detail
Collaborating with developers, product owners, copywriters and designers to review and validate content details; identify quality, deliverability, compatibility or usability issues; identify solutions; and retest
Identifying roadblocks and solutions before timelines and launch dates are impacted
Developing and implementing new quality assurance technologies, standards, and measures
Exercising discretion and independent judgment regarding testing methods, whether requirements pass or fail, and the severity of identified issues
Reviewing test plans for completeness and clarity
Tracking defects and fixes and reporting the progress of each
What It Takes To Catch Our Eye:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience
Demonstrated experience planning and prioritizing work across multiple initiatives
Knowledge of quality assurance procedures for web and digital experiences, including AEM content publishing
Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Bonus Points For:
A degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Design, Management Information Systems, or IT or technology field.
Experience in eCommerce/Digital content publishing.
Experience working with tools used throughout the digital development and QA lifecycle, such as Figma, Jira, Confluence, TestFlight, and BrowserStack
Experience testing responsive web experiences across browsers, devices, and operating systems.
Analytical, research, interpersonal and problem-solving skill.
Ability to work independently and communicate complex issues
