The Quality Assurance professional assists management in maintaining product quality standards and implementing ISO and Food Safety management systems. The role involves monitoring production processes, conducting internal audits, and supporting R&D for new products.

Role Summary

Assist Quality Manager/ Operations Manager/Director in ensuring product quality are met and standard (ISO, Food Safety) are properly implemented and updated.

Responsibilities / Duties / Job Description / Job Scope / Accountabilities

  • Ensure that all laid down procedures and work instructions are followed
  • Assure that all products manufactured by the organization meet customer specifications and achieve superior quality and reliability levels.
  • Ensure adequate action taken to prevent occurrence of any non-conformities relating to quality
  • Ensure that all causes of non-conformity products are being investigated with adequate actions.
  • Ensure that any problems relating to products, process and quality are identified and recorded.
  • Ensure that the Quality Management System (9001:2000) and Food Safety Management System is effectively implemented and maintained.
  • Ensure that internal quality audits and management views are carried out accordingly.
  • Assist in R&D of new product and testing of new materials

Competencies / Education / Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Personality

  • Diploma in Quality Management, Food Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 year experience in a Quality Assurance role preferably from the packaging industry
  • Knowledge of ISO and HACCP management system implementation.
  • Good leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
