Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Onsite Clayton South
Contract: 6–12 months
Hours: 15–24 hours per week (flexible across 2–5 days)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support our operations on a fixed-term basis. This part-time role offers flexibility in how hours are worked across the week, with a strong onsite presence required. The focus will be on strengthening our Quality Management System (QMS), leading audits, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct internal and customer audits
Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), including policies and procedures
Develop quality plans & control plans to achieve customer requirements
Identify gaps and implement process improvements
Support audit readiness and compliance requirements
Provide guidance and coaching to stakeholders on quality standards and practices
Ensure alignment with applicable quality frameworks and defence requirements
About You
Certified Auditor (essential)
Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 9001 / AS9100D
Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment
Ability to independently manage audits and QMS documentation
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Comfortable working onsite and in a part-time flexible structure
Desirable
Experience within the defence and aerospace industries
Background in electrical manufacturing or engineering environments
