Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Onsite Clayton South
Contract: 6–12 months
Hours: 15–24 hours per week (flexible across 2–5 days)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support our operations on a fixed-term basis. This part-time role offers flexibility in how hours are worked across the week, with a strong onsite presence required. The focus will be on strengthening our Quality Management System (QMS), leading audits, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct internal and customer audits

• Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), including policies and procedures

• Develop quality plans & control plans to achieve customer requirements

• Identify gaps and implement process improvements

• Support audit readiness and compliance requirements

• Provide guidance and coaching to stakeholders on quality standards and practices

• Ensure alignment with applicable quality frameworks and defence requirements

About You

• Certified Auditor (essential)

• Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 9001 / AS9100D

• Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment

• Ability to independently manage audits and QMS documentation

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Comfortable working onsite and in a part-time flexible structure

Desirable

• Experience within the defence and aerospace industries

• Background in electrical manufacturing or engineering environments
