Quality Assurance Officer - Internal
The Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Team has an exciting opportunity for an interim position as a Quality Assurance Officer to undertake auditing and quality assurance activity, in line with the Quality Assurance framework within Barnet Family Services. Through auditing and building strong relationships with practitioners and managers, adopting an appreciative enquiry approach, you will be responsible for driving practice improvement across the Family Services system.
You will be a qualified Social Worker, with at least five years’ post qualifying experience in a statutory social work setting with children and families and some management experience. The post holder will have excellent communication and report writing skills, and a well-developed knowledge base of the components for outstanding social work practice. The post holder will be responsible for undertaking audits, writing reports and undertaking practice development activity, contributing to Family Services key priorities and to drive practice improvement.
The post holder will have a strong background in social care practice and will demonstrate a creative and flexible approach to evaluating, monitoring and improving practice.
