Summary

The Quality Assurance Pharmacist serves as the Responsible Person for controlled drugs, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing quality assurance processes, and supporting GMP activities. The role involves reviewing documentation, conducting training, and participating in investigations within a private sector pharmaceutical environment.

Our established client within the private sector is looking to hire an experienced QA Pharmacist!

  • 5 days office hours

  • Private Sector within the West region

  • Annual AWS + Performance Bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Responsible Person for Controlled Drugs under the CD Wholesale Licence.

  • Act as the primary contact for operations related to Controlled Drugs, including audits and key performance indicators.

  • Ensure the compliance of receipt, storage, checking, distribution, and disposal of Controlled Drugs with operational and regulatory standards.

  • Function as the Authorized Person or Delegated Authorized Person for the final release of repacked therapeutic products.

  • Support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) related activities and assist in quality assurance processes.

  • Review quality assurance documents and manage weekly environmental monitoring logs, addressing any excursions.

  • Create and update training materials, providing necessary training for team members.

  • Participate in investigations and report writing for nonconformities and medication errors.

  • Assist in the development and review of quality and environmental standard operating procedures.

  • Engage in sustainability initiatives and carbon footprint tracking.

  • Perform additional tasks as required by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science (Pharmacy) or equivalent accredited by the relevant authority.

  • Full registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council; active practice is required.

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Pharmacist.

  • Previous experience in Controlled Drug handling and quality assurance within GMP/GDP environments is preferred.

  • Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork capabilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
