Summary
On-site QA/QC engineer inspects construction work, materials, and documentation to ensure compliance with plans and standards for a Singapore-based construction services firm.
💰 Salary: SGD 3,000 – SGD 4,500
📍 Work Location: (Project Site)
🗓 Working Days: 6-day work week
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site and batching plant inspections to ensure work complies with approved drawings, method statements, and QAQC procedures.
- Ensure compliance with waterproofing requirements and site SOPs.
- Attend site meetings and provide support on quality-related matters.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain QAQC documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
- Participate in ISO audits and quality management activities.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, inspection, and testing of construction materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of QAQC experience in the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and professional email communication.
- Willing to work overtime when required.
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence and willing to drive a company vehicle when necessary.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work at project sites in the eastern region of Singapore.
