Quality Assurance & Quality Control Technicians Trainees (Hull Structural)

Summary

Performs technical inspections on vessels, shipyards, and marine facilities, preparing compliance reports based on industry standards. Focuses on hull structures and non-destructive testing (NDT) with site visits and client liaison.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical inspection services on vessels/shipyards/onshore marine/offshore facilities/anchorage/oversea job
  • Prepare service reports and recommendation to customer after carrying out site inspection based on required industrial guidance/classification societies standards
  • Liaise, organize, and execute the given task independently


Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Marine related field
  • Those with ASNT/PCN NDT Level 2 certification in UT, UTG, MT, PT will be a plus
  • At least 2 years in a similar capacity preferably in a marine industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD software
  • Ability to multitask between projects and ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Willing to work long hours and operationally ready
  • Overseas travelling required
  • Those with experience in hull structures of various vessels and Non-destructive testing knowledge will be advantage
