Quality Assurance Representative

Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Representative is responsible for ensuring all internal and external quality requirements are met before products reach customers. This role involves inspecting procedures, identifying mistakes, reporting non-conformities, and supporting continuous quality improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe work environment with a "Safety First" mindset.
  • Follow all company safety processes and procedures.
  • Inspect products and processes and report quality issues.
  • Monitor operations that affect product quality.
  • Collaborate with production and other departments to ensure first-pass quality.
  • Identify workmanship defects and non-conformance issues.
  • Complete quality-related documentation and reporting as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to read and use a tape measure accurately.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license.

Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify workmanship errors.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with plant management and team members.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, including hot and cold environments, and be exposed to outdoor elements.
  • Ability to stand, walk, crouch, and bend frequently throughout the shift.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that can be dirty and dusty, where associates should expect to get dirty while performing their daily job duties.
