QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (AIRCRAFT)

The primary purpose of this position is: To provide technical assistance as a Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) preforming duties relating to the surveillance of Aircraft Maintenance contracts.

Responsible for developing and implementing Performance Management Assessment Program (PMAP) as a Maintenance Operation Instructions (MOI) based on the contract, logistics support statement of work (SOW) and other applicable directives. Responsible for conducting evaluations of contractor in accordance with required Air Force Instructions. Maintains quality insurance inspection log and works with contractor to resolve problem areas, discusses procedures and reviews documented discrepancies. Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments.
