The primary purpose of this position is: To perform as a Quality Assurance Specialist/Contracting Officer Representative (QAS/COR) evaluating, and reporting contractor performance; autonomously executing a quality assurance program that includes surveillance and evaluations; and advise key officials, members of boards and committees, and military and civilian program managers on all aspects of policy, planning, review, and research as it relates to contract execution; specifically the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program. A Contracting Officer Representative who evaluates the Quality Management System, ensuring that all contractual, regulatory, and administrative requirements are met. Policy development, planning, review, and program execution for the 354th Fighter Wing F-35 mission. Reviews and evaluates a wide range of pre- and post-award contracting actions to ensure all regulatory and procedural requirements have been met. Provides advisory and hands-on assistance to functional area personnel involved in developing/revising technical specifications, Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work (SOW), Statements of Objectives (SOO), Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP), Performance Requirements Summary (PRS), and COR checklists.
