QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (ELECTRONICS)
Summary
Inspects avionics, precision measurement, and weapons control systems to ensure contractor compliance with military standards and technical orders.
The primary purpose of this position is: To perform quality assurance evaluations and inspections of contractor performance in accordance with Statement of Work, DoD directives, Air Force Instructions, and Technical Orders in support of operations and maintenance of the avionics systems, precision measurement equipment, and weapons control systems. Performs as a member of the multi-functional team to conduct a Performance Based Service Acquisition overview and remain responsible for assessing contractor performance and managing the contract over the life of the requirements. Utilizes a variety of administrative, analytical and technical methods and techniques to ensure quality and reliability of services. Acts as liaison between commander, contracting officer, contractor, contractor's representative, HQ 2AF and HQ AETC Logistics. Prepares and provides briefings to various levels of management and contractor personnel.
