Quality Assurance Specialist, Operations

Job scope

• Implement and maintain quality management processes within warehouse operations.
• Monitor warehouse activities to ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements and applicable quality standards.
• Conduct quality checks on inbound and outbound goods and inventory, including checks on product condition, labelling, packaging and storage.
• Identify and report quality issues, non-conformities and deviations from established procedures.
• Ensure damaged, expired or non-conforming products are properly segregated and handled according to requirements.
• Review and maintain quality procedures, records and other documentation in coordination with the corporate Quality team.
• Monitor quality KPIs and operational compliance metrics, and prepare reports on findings for management.
• Support quality investigations and follow up on corrective actions until they are closed.
• Maintain audit records and support compliance with ISO, GDP, GMP and customer-specific requirements where applicable.
• Conduct quality awareness and SOP training for warehouse personnel.
• Guide operations teams on quality requirements and good practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen processes and reduce quality-related issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Quality Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in quality assurance, warehouse operations, logistics or supply chain management.
• Experience with ISO 9001, GDP, GMP or regulated environments is an advantage.
• Experience conducting audits and quality investigations is preferred.
• Must be physically fit and able to work overtime on weekdays, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Handphones and watches, including smartwatches, are not allowed inside the warehouse due to security requirements.
