Quality Assurance Supervisor
Summary
Plans and coordinates quality assurance programs in a manufacturing plant environment, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance, leading Six Sigma/Lean manufacturing initiatives, and managing quality documentation and corrective actions.
The Quality Supervisor plans, coordinates, and directs quality assurance programs and processes to support the continuous production of products that meet established standards. This position serves as the point of contact for customer quality requirements, concerns, and issue resolution. The role also facilitates quality training and education for associates using company procedures and manufacturing best practices.

Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service while maintaining exemplary relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with Quality requirements and responsible for Quality documentation.
- Supports the Director of Quality in managing customer Quality Audits and process-oriented Internal Audits
- Responsible for leading all aspects of continual improvement, corrective actions, and driving appropriate behaviors/practices
- Maintain/Achieve ISO 9001 :2015 QMS status and certification, recertification, etc.
- Risk Based Plan Continuation
- Provide collaborative communications and guidance with plant leaders and associates on quality issues.
- Participate/Lead 5S, Six Sigma, and Lean manufacturing initiatives, as well as SQF initiatives and GMP practices.
- Assist in data collection methodologies and quantification on financial impact of results.
- Ensure timely and specific Corrective Action activities, generate targeted reports and follow up to team, track key performance metrics
- Provide technical (quality tool) and statistical insight to teams, assist in presenting data
- Transfer learning across teams and business.
- Identify application opportunities for the technical/statistical tools of quality/process improvement and facilitate the implementation

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has supervisory responsibilities and serves as a coach and resource for quality-related practices, processes, and expectations.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office/plant environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/fax, filing cabinets, etc. Most of the work will be done in manufacturing facilities where the noise level may be loud and the temperature is uncontrolled.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with some flexibility in work schedules/hours, but the employee should generally be available during the "core" work hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and must agree to variation in work schedules/hours and overtime.

This position may require travel — up to 20% travel potential.
