Quality Assurance Supervisor
Summary
Supervises the quality assurance team at ZIEHL-ABEGG, a fan and motor manufacturer, overseeing incoming goods, in-process, and final inspection. Leads process improvements, CAPA/root-cause and 8D investigations, ISO 9001 compliance, training, and monthly quality cost/defect reporting using Lean tools like Six Sigma and 5S.

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will ensure optimal quality processes in incoming goods, in process inspection, and final inspection to maintain and enhance customer satisfaction.
Quality Assurance Supervisor
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop controlled documents and lead process improvements with other departments
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System standards and ISO requirements
- Coordinate training schedules for all new hires
- Supervise and train Quality Assurance team
- Coordinate process releases for new components
- Investigation of production issues
- Product failure analysis
- Reporting of Q costs and defects monthly
- All other duties assigned
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in Quality
- CAPA and Root Cause Investigation Analysis
- Experience with 8D reporting
- Ability to read blueprints
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to work hands on in multiple departments
- Technical writing and analytical skills experience for detailed reporting
- Strong communication skills to internal and external customers both US and global
- Lean practices to include TQM, Six Sigma, and 5S
- ISO 9001 requirements
- Customer oriented personality
- MS Office, QSYS, ProAlpha experience
