Quality Assurance Technician

To inspect semi-finished or finished parts / products to ensure that they conform with specifications laid down by the Company.

Acts in strict compliance with company's quality control procedures. Conducts sampling inspection on semi-finished or finished products to ensure that they conform to specifications as laid down. Performs dimensional, functional or other tests using specified measuring and test equipment. Records results on specified data sheets and control charts. Isolates and identifies defective parts / products and reporting and highlighting variances / defects to line and quality control Managers. May also perform trial run inspection for new projects / products.

To monitor the quality control procedures.

Performs inspection support, including first piece, in-process and final inspections. Conducts process and procedural audits and coordinates calibration programs on equipment. Maintains the QC documentation system. Also supervises and trains junior QA / QC staff.

Responsible for maintaining incoming and outgoing QC and conducts internal quality audits to ensure the company operations comply with the ISO standards.
