Quality Assurance Technician

Key Duties/Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Technician monitors assigned areas to ensure that the processes are following proper guidelines and that the product at each step complies with SSI and Customer specifications.

• Communicate with Supervisors and other departments as needed
• Place product on hold as necessary based on defined guidelines
• Pull samples as required for cook evaluations
• Pull samples aseptically as required for microbiological testing
• Packages samples for shipments to labs and customers.
• Evaluates finished products, raw materials, and other ingredients
• Participate in the daily pre-operational inspection process as needed
• Data Recording as needed
