Your Mission

Support mission-focused quality assurance efforts in Norfolk, Virginia by reviewing contract work specifications, performing product and process surveillance, documenting inspection and audit results, and helping ensure contractor quality organizations meet required standards for U.S. Navy maintenance and ship-related work.

What You’ll Do

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will support contract quality oversight through the following responsibilities:

· Review contract work specifications to ensure quality requirements are specified.

· Develop and execute product and process surveillance, inspection, and audit plans.

· Record surveillance, inspection, and audit results and maintain a database of results.

· Draft formal feedback to contractor quality organizations based on surveillance, inspection, and audit results.

· Develop and maintain matrices, graphs, metrics, and written reports using common computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and U.S. Navy proprietary software programs.
