Quality Assurance Tester

Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 4,500 per month

Job Title: Quality Assurance Tester
Location: Vista Tower, The Intermark, Kuala Lumpur
Working Hours: 9am – 6pm shift, Weekends off

Job Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our game development team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for identifying bugs, glitches, and performance issues to ensure a high-quality gaming experience for players. You will play a critical role in the development cycle, working closely with developers, designers, and producers to help deliver polished, bug-free games.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Follow and create test cases, conduct exploratory testing across multiple platforms (PC, mobile) to ensure features and functionalities meet design specification

2. Identify, reproduce, and isolate issues, document it using bug tracking tools

3. Detailed bug report with description of issues, reproduction steps and expected results

4. Conduct regression testing to verify identified issues have been resolved and that changes do not introduce new defects.

5. Provide feedback on gameplay mechanics, difficulty, and user experience.
   

Job Requirements:

1. Strong passion on gaming and understanding of different game genres and player expectations

2. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.

3. Good written and verbal communication skills to document bugs reports clearly.

4. Basic understanding of software testing methodologies

5. Maintain focus and motivation throughout the repetitive testing

6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

7. Passionate about MMORPGs and strong interest in gaming culture is highly preferred
