Quality Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of back-end components, including databases, APIs, and server-side logic.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand data models, application architecture, and business requirements.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data.
• JMeter Performance Testing: Candidates should have hands-on experience with JMeter, which is a popular performance testing tool used for measuring system performance under load. They should be proficient in creating and executing performance test scripts, analyzing test results, and identifying performance bottlenecks.
• Test RESTful APIs for functionality, security, and performance.
• Validate data exchange between front end and back-end systems.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium/Katalon, TestNG, Cucumber.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or EC field.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
