Quality Control And Quality Assurance Specialist

Requirements

3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and quality control

Proven expertise in manual and automated testing, with hands-on automation frameworks

Ability to design and execute test plans, test cases and regression suites for complex systems

Strong track record of identifying and documenting critical bugs and edge cases

Experience leading and mentoring QA teams in Agile or hybrid environments

Excellent communication skills with clients and stakeholders

Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools

Advanced knowledge of automated testing tools and scripting languages

Experience with version control; CI/CD and DevOps familiarity is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field

Nice to have: Experience in regulated industries or enterprise projects; performance, security or usability testing.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end testing: Design, plan and oversee manual and automated testing strategies covering functional and non-functional requirements.

Automation & manual testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, and perform meticulous manual testing to uncover hard-to-find bugs and edge cases.

Bug identification & reporting: Find, document and track defects with exceptional attention to detail.

Quality leadership: Serve as the senior point of contact for quality, leading QA engineers and analysts in testing best practices and continuous improvement.

Client engagement: Lead client discussions on quality standards, test results and defect management.

Test strategy & planning: Build risk-based testing approaches, regression plans and automation coverage.

Collaboration & mentorship: Work with developers, BAs and PMs, and mentor junior QA staff.

Continuous improvement: Adopt new testing tools and methodologies.
