QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER

Job Description:

• To keep track on all measuring instruments, drift mandrels stock and calibration/verification status with records update and certificates.
• To verify and correct functional inspection instruments and gauges. Example: Vernier caliper, OD/ID micro-meter and dial indicator. etc.
• Liaise with Supplier/Vendor on instruments Calibration results and status.
• Ensure 100% final Inspection on product conformity accordance to drawing call-out/print and Purchase Order specifications
• Verifying of Customers’ Purchase/Delivery Order, Suppliers’ Mill Cert and/or tall-sheet for all incoming materials
• Support production and procurement in performing incoming and out-going raw materials inspection on material hardness (if require), dimensions check,visual incoming inspection and OCTG pipe straightening inspection etc.
• Issue inspection gauges to production base on process router and drawing requirement.
• Maintenance and housekeeping master calibration equipment and calibration room.
• To perform any ad hoc activity assigned by immediate superior
• Ensure quality standards on incoming materials with relevant and accurate record ofquality results accordance to set standards and specifications.
• Ensure measuring instrument is within tolerances and accuracy for it intends use.
• Ensure measuring instruments is identified with traceability with Calibration & Verification reports.
• Solely participate in Quality Control function
• Report on any Nonconformance products and instruments detected.
• 5.50 Days Work Week

Requirement

• At least 5 years of working experience
• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• SKILLS ASME, Calibration, Dimensioning, Drawing,Instrument Calibration, ISO, Materials Inspection, Measurement Tools, NDT, QualityManagement, Traceability, Welding, Welding Procedures , Microsoft office
