QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER

  • Assisting Project QA/QC Manager to manage a field document control system for construction drawings, specifications, test and inspection reports, vendor data, and as-built drawings
  • Assuring that the contract obligations for testing and record keeping are adhered to
  • Compile inspection records for MDR (Manufacturing/Quality Dossiers)
  • Coordinate with the client for review and approval of the MDR
  • Check & monitor progress/approval reports status daily, weekly, and monthly, track storing, loading, and delivery to the project site
  • Ensuring proper turnover of complete quality control, ensuring that turnover documentation is maintained, organized, and turned over on schedule
  • Establish and maintain inspection records and NDT progress status on a periodic basis as required by the project schedule
  • Generate weld rejection rate summary and bi-weekly welder performance
  • Facilitating Root Cause analysis process for site-level NCRs and ensuring corrective action and preventive action are acceptable and approves NCR prior to input in QMS
  • Mentoring preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project/ Activity commencement.
  • Providing guidance and advice to the Project Manager on significant changes to the quality management system that have a direct impact on site operations.
  • Processing, evaluating, and submitting on time, completed Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Requests (CAR), Inspections, and audit reports to the Project QA/QC Manager
  • Reviewing the inspection for client representative/third party laboratory and subcontractors.
  • Good analytical skills, self-motivated Meticulous, has a keen eye for details, good planning, and good team player
  • Min. Diploma in Engineering / Civil / Marine / Quality Engineering
  • Min 3 years QA/QC experience in Construction or Oil/Gas industries
