Quality Control Engineer

Job Summary:
Conduct in-process and final inspections of car batteries to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Analyze and document quality issues, root causes, and recommend corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with production, R&D, and customer service teams to resolve quality concerns and customer complaints.
Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection checklists, testing protocols, and reports.
Monitor and audit production processes to ensure adherence to quality procedures and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and participate in internal audits and customer quality reviews.
Support supplier quality assurance by evaluating incoming raw materials and components.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects or rework.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2–4 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment; experience in the automotive or battery industry is a strong advantage.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in quality tools and techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality management systems
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Certifications (preferred):
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent
Training in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Root Cause Analysis
