Quality Control Engineer

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all car battery products meet the required quality standards and customer expectations. This role involves monitoring production processes, conducting quality inspections and tests, analyzing defects, and working closely with production and customer service teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvements. The QC Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining product reliability, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Conduct in-process and final inspections of car batteries to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Analyze and document quality issues, root causes, and recommend corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

Collaborate with production, R&D, and customer service teams to resolve quality concerns and customer complaints.

Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection checklists, testing protocols, and reports.

Monitor and audit production processes to ensure adherence to quality procedures and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate and participate in internal audits and customer quality reviews.

Support supplier quality assurance by evaluating incoming raw materials and components.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects or rework.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: At least 2–4 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment; experience in the automotive or battery industry is a strong advantage.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient in quality tools and techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC, MSA)

Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality management systems

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Certifications (preferred):

Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent

Training in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Root Cause Analysis
