QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER

Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
Establish quality control procedures, inspection plans, checklists, and acceptance criteria.
Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and relevant standards.
Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, equipment, and completed works.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers on quality matters.
Review material submissions, test reports, inspection records, and quality-related documentation.
Identify non-conformities, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct internal quality audits and support external, client, and certification audits.
Investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and recommend improvements.
Ensure measuring and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
Prepare quality reports and maintain accurate records for audit and project handover.
Provide quality-related training and guidance to employees and subcontractors.
Promote continuous improvement and a strong quality culture across the organisation.

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant quality control or quality assurance experience.
Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or M&E projects is preferred.
Good knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
Familiar with relevant Singapore regulations, industry codes, technical standards, and authority requirements.
Experience in preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, checklists, audit reports, and NCRs.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Able to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality-management documentation.
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification is an advantage.
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities.
