QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
Summary
Inspects machined parts, weldments, and assemblies using tools like micrometers and CMM to ensure they meet technical drawings and customer specs.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Conduct inspection of incoming, in-process and final inspection on machined parts, weldments and assemblies as per technical drawings, customer’s specifications and requirements through the use of various types of inspection equipment set up.
- Perform dimension check on parts, components and tools using micrometers, calipers, comparators, indicator, CMM & CREAFOAM.
- Perform visual, mechanical and functional check on components.
- Report non-compliance parts to QA Engineer.
- Performs visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing components/parts.
- Understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures.
- Responsible for conducting inspection in accordance with approved technical data.
REQUIREMENT
- GCE ‘O’ / ‘A’ Level with minimum 3 year working experience or
- Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Quality Management with minimum 1 year working experience.
- Good interpersonal skill and ability to communicate with all levels.
- Good understanding of technical drawing.
- Familiar with all inspection methods and techniques.
- Basic understanding of General Dimension & Tolerance control.
- Proficient in the use of various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
