Quality Control Inspector

Under the direction of the General Manager and in close working relationship the production team, this individual will be responsible for quality assurance. Crist Group holds a very high standard for quality, thus precision detail is a must.

Quality Control:

Check all completed assemblies for dimensional, and cosmetic accuracy.
FAI data collection for applicable items.
Assist Lead in production tracking.

Requirements

Read and understand 2d and 3d drawings for assemblies and machined products.
Familiar with manual measuring tools: Calipers, height gauge, bore gauge, depth gauge, dowel pins, tape measures, scales, protractor, angle gauges.
Creative measuring skills
Great basic math skills.
Work with both imperial and metric dimensions and easily convert from one to another.
Understand tolerance specifications and how to apply them.
Learn and understand manufacturing processes.
Some manufacturing skills will be needed.
Computer skills: MS Office: Mostly Excel, Word & Outlook. Also, Adobe, Google Docs, and 3D drawing viewing programs.
Detail orientated and organized.
Strong communication skills to work with many members of the team.
Work in a fast-paced environment without missing the smallest details.
