Quality Control Inspector

We are hiring a Quality Control Inspector on behalf of our client to support quality assurance and inspection activities across the production process. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting materials, components and finished products, identifying quality issues, maintaining accurate inspection records and working closely with production teams to ensure products meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test and sample raw materials, components, assembled parts and finished products to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure products are manufactured according to established quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify quality issues and work with production teams to recommend and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Reject or segregate materials, components or products that do not meet the required specifications.
  • Conduct inspections throughout the production cycle to ensure processes are efficient, consistent and compliant with safety and quality requirements.
  • Record and maintain accurate inspection results, testing data and quality metrics, including daily defect and rejection rates.
  • Prepare inspection reports and logs, including details of rework, waste and non-conforming products.
  • Maintain and update quality-related data in the relevant database or systems.
  • Support the collection and documentation of Non-Conformance Report (NCR) data, including taking photographs and maintaining supporting records.
  • Escalate recurring quality issues or significant non-conformities to the relevant supervisor or management.
  • Work closely with production and other relevant departments to support continuous improvement in product and process quality.
  • Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum ITE qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in Quality Control, Quality Inspection or Manufacturing
  • Candidates with experience in a production or manufacturing environment will be preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and deviations.
  • Comfortable working with production teams and following established procedures.
  • Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to work independently as well as as part of a team.
  • Responsible, systematic and hands-on in approach.
