In line Inspection • Conduct in-process inspections during all armoring stages including fabrication, welding, ballistic material installation, glass fitting, drive testing, water leak testing and vehicle assembly. • Ensure production activities conform to approved drawings, work instructions, SOPs, and quality requirements. • Detect non-conformities, workmanship issues, dimensional deviations, and installation defects before the product moves to the next process. Raise inspection reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs) when required. • Inspect armor steel, ballistic glass, overlap protection, brackets, fasteners, welding, and mounting systems to ensure compliance with design and ballistic requirements. • Ensure operators follows approved manufacturing procedures quality requirements and safety regulations throughout production. • Accurately document inspection results, defect findings, rework status, and quality checkpoints in inspection reports, checklists, and production records. • Re-inspect repaired or reworked items to confirm that defects have been properly corrected and meet acceptance criteria. • Work closely with production supervisors, foremen, engineering, and quality personnel to resolve quality issues and improve process performance. • Provide inspection data and feedback for investigations of recurring defects, customer complaints, and quality improvement initiatives.
