QUALITY CONTROL LAB TECHNICIAN - PNBB

Position Summary
Performs duties related to the testing, inspection, and preparation of all raw materials and products in order to ensure they conform to company standards, meet the specifications of the franchising companies, and are in compliance with PCNBB’s Food Safety Management System using equipment and skills necessary to accomplish such tasks with a minimum amount of supervision.

Scope
The QC Technician must perform quality control, quality assurance, and product support functions as defined by the Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Perform testing on all incoming raw materials to make sure they meet specifications.
Receive and put away all raw materials and conduct inventory counts periodically.
Blend batches of beverage according to production schedule and beverage formulations and procedures being careful to follow FIFO and FEFO practices where required.
Perform testing on all completed batches of syrup as required.
Operate and monitor blenders on production lines and adjust parameters accordingly to address any quality concerns.
Perform testing on all production runs to make sure they adhere to all specifications.
Inspect all finished goods for defects.
Escalate any nonconformances or out of spec product appropriately.
Keep lab, syrup room, and support areas clean.
Perform start up and shut down procedures.
Follow all GMPs, Food Safety, and Food Defense policies properly and set the standard for the rest of the plant.
Train new operators as needed.
Any other assigned duties including cleaning and line relief if required.

Shift
1st, 2nd, 3rd, Day Flex, Night Flex
This role requires flexibility. The more flexible for schedule, the more we are able to work with the needs of the team

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Frequent bending, walking, standing and/or climbing stairs
Attendance records must be in good standing as determined by the Quality Manager.
Must pass the Quality Control Lab Technician Minimum Qualifications Test.

We offer a competitive rate of $30.50 per hour.. Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision. Eligibility in benefit plans begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Six (6) days of sick leave; two (2) weeks of vacation accrued throughout the year; nine (9) Company Paid Holidays and a 401K Plan with employer match.
