About the position

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader for the Quality Control group at the Sanofi Csanyikvölgy Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Unit for a fixed-term, maternity cover position. Quality Control is a key organizational unit of the site's Quality Management: it is responsible for the testing and qualification of incoming materials, water used in injection production, semi-finished and finished products, in-process controls, and the hygienic monitoring of cleanrooms. As a Team Leader, you will ensure that the daily operation of the chemical laboratory runs smoothly, in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements — while also developing and leading your team.

Your main responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operational supervision of the quality control laboratory, ensuring adherence to scheduled plans and timely testing of samples
  • Review and approve laboratory test results and reports; you are responsible for the accuracy of data recorded in LIMS and primary documentation
  • Ensure the application of validated methods, and prepare and execute validation and method transfer protocols as a receiving unit
  • Lead and train the laboratory team: maintain the qualification matrix, organize training sessions, and participate in training programs as an instructor
  • Manage maintenance, qualification, and calibration plans for equipment to ensure the reliability of laboratory activities
  • Investigate OOS results and deviations, execute CAPAs, and manage changes
  • Prepare quality specifications, local documents, validation protocols, and reports
  • Ensure compliance with and enforcement of Data Integrity rules at the site
  • Actively represent the Take the Lead mindset: propose improvements, and initiate and follow up on problem-solving projects

What we expect from you

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of QC laboratory experience
  • Proven team leader or coordinator experience (managing people, training, work organization)
  • Practical proficiency in OOS/deviation management, CAPA processes, and preparation for regulatory audits
  • Experience in preparing and executing validation/qualification protocols
  • Knowledge of LIMS and laboratory documentation systems is an advantage
  • Knowledge of chromatographic testing is an advantage

Education:

  • Higher education degree in science or engineering: chemist, pharmacist, biologist, chemical engineer, or a similar field
  • GMP training is an advantage

Language skills:

  • Hungarian: native level
  • English: intermediate level in writing and speaking
