Quality Control Technician
Summary
Quality Control Technician improves manufacturing processes, troubleshoots production issues, and implements Lean projects in a factory setting.
· Processing engineering change requests
· Trouble-shooting production problems
· Assist in trouble-shooting assembly & fabrication equipment
· Optimizing work-station layout
· Justifying, specifying, and installing equipment
· Introducing new products (BOM scrubbing, Manufacturing Trial Lots, Assist in Training, and work with Design Engineering on Production Issues related to Design for Manufacturing).
· Creating and maintaining Bill of Materials and Routings (Assembly and Fabrication).
· Supporting and/or leading Lean projects.
What we look for:
Required
· Degree in Engineering or other related manufacturing discipline.
· 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience
· Lean manufacturing principles (material flow, material presentation, process flow, workstation design.
