A world leader in Biotechnology and Life Sciences, is seeking a Quality Control Technician I – QC Lab Support at Frederick, MD.
Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility of Extension)
- Pay Rate: $21.89/hour
- Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick leave, 401K
- Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, 3:00 PM–2:00 AM (4 days × 10 hours)
Main Responsibilities
- Receive samples, verify documents, and enter details into LIMS.
- Label, process, store, and organize samples.
- Coordinate sample transfers and shipping to laboratories.
- Maintain sample storage areas and review laboratory records.
- Follow GMP, safety, and quality procedures.
- Coordinate with QC, QA, Manufacturing, and other departments.
- Assist with deviations, investigations, and meetings.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, OR
- Associate degree + 2 years of relevant laboratory/QC experience, OR
- High school diploma + 3 years of relevant laboratory/QC experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of GMP in a QC laboratory.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Visio, and related applications.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
