Quality Director (NPD/APQP) - Semiconductor

Our client is a well-established MNC specializing in advanced semiconductor and manufacturing technology solutions. Due to business expansion, they are looking for a Quality Director to lead quality strategy and New Product Development (NPD) initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.

Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm (Flexible Working Hours)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead quality strategy and APQP implementation throughout the New Product Development (NPD/NPI) lifecycle
• Develop and enhance quality systems, risk management, and process governance from product development to mass production
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing, Suppliers, Sales, and Customers to ensure product quality and successful product launches
• Lead and develop the Quality team while driving continuous improvement, process optimization, and compliance with industry standards
• Oversee quality performance across regional manufacturing sites and support customer quality requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in APQP, NPD/NPI, EMS, or contract manufacturing, with proven leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9000, IATF 16949, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and managing cross-functional stakeholders is highly preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Willing to travel frequently to China manufacturing plants, with the possibility of overseas stationing
