Quality Document Specialist

2.1 The Quality Assurance Documentation Specialist's duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

2.1.1 Develop final documentation packages for customers. Ensure packet is complete including review of outside service certificates, approvals, and closures.

2.1.2 Review and investigate customer requests for documentation package revisions.

2.1.3 Submit completed documentation packages to the customer’s portal or sales department and upload them into the internal database system.

2.1.4 Create and revise drawings and develop data sheets.

2.1.5 Manage and maintain customer folders on shared drive that contain production process documentation, material test reports and documentation package.

2.2 In absence of a Quality Assurance Technical Specialist, Documentation Specialist may be required to do the following:

2.2.1 Review and approve process routers and ensure that all technical information has been included.

2.2.2 Verify and approve material test reports to ensure they meet customer specific requirements and/or purchase order requirements.

2.2.3 Update the process router and upload MTR’s to the internal database system.

2.2.4 Verify heat treat certifications to ensure they meet customer specific requirements and/or purchase order requirements.

2.2.5 Create and send NCR’s to customer for approval as needed.

2.2.6 Review and approve process drawings.
