Quality Engineer

📍 About the role
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to lead quality management across key automotive production areas, including Stamping, Welding, Painting, and Trim. You will manage quality teams, drive problem-solving and improvement activities, and ensure production quality meets required standards and targets.
🎯 What you'll be doing
Lead and manage Quality teams for Stamping, Welding, Painting, and Trim operations.
Recruit, develop, coach, and train local Quality leaders and team members.
Supervise quality control processes and problem-solving activities across production areas.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
Lead quality improvement and innovation initiatives to improve product quality, process stability, and overall quality performance.
Monitor quality performance, identify key issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare, review, update, and control quality-related documents to ensure process standardization and compliance.
Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, Equipment, and other cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
Drive continuous improvement activities and quality performance enhancement.
Prepare quality performance reports and provide updates and recommendations to management.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
✅ What you'll need
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Quality Management, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in Quality Management within the automotive manufacturing industry.
Proven experience managing Quality teams in Stamping, Welding, Painting, Trim, or other automotive production areas.
Strong knowledge of quality tools, problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proven experience in team management, coaching, and employee development.
Good knowledge of quality standards, procedures, and document control.
Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Good command of English. Chinese communication skills are an advantage.
