What You’ll Do
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll lead technical problem-solving activities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the production process. You’ll serve as the go-to technical resource for the Quality Assurance team, supporting manufacturing operations and contributing to the success of our quality management system.
A Day in the Life
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll champion quality improvement initiatives by conducting internal audits, implementing quality tools, and driving the resolution of product non-conformities. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process performance, influence process owners, and foster a culture of quality excellence. Additionally, you’ll support the Quality Assurance team with system updates, corrective actions, and hosting audits for both internal and external stakeholders.
Specific Duties
Lead technical problem-solving activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct internal system and process audits, including random audits as needed, and prepare reports with follow-up actions.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to document, assign, and resolve product non-conformities.
Improve detection of non-conformances through quality tools like Control Plans, FMEAs, and statistical methodologies.
Implement metrics to measure process performance and use findings to prioritize audit strategies.
Assist with Quality Management System activities, including updates, corrective actions, and customer/auditor interactions
Train and mentor peers on quality processes and methodologies.

Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Previous experience in a transformer manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, internal auditing, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Must live or be willing to relocate to within a reasonable safe commute to the assigned plant location. Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer for U.S. based positions. This position is not eligible for sponsorship or immigration assistance.
