Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or minimum four years of manufacturing experience in the automotive industry
- Excellent customer relations, communication, and team building skills
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
- CMM Experience
Job Preferences:
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- 8D/Problem solving certification
- Injection molding and/or plastic automotive industry experience
- 4 years’ experience in quality assurance
Job Summary:
To assist with quality department submissions, problem tracking, and database management. Act as contact to both external and internal customers regarding quality issues.

Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee all production personnel on assigned shift.
- Inform and instruct all production personnel of their individual duties.
- Discipline production personnel on assigned shift.
- Maintain a timely and continuous production flow to ensure production schedules are implemented and deadlines are met.
- Responsible for completing all new and existing employee evaluations and identifying training needs.
- Ensure that all operating, quality and safety procedures are followed.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including absence reports, injury reports and all shift paperwork.
- Assist in line set-up, when necessary and ensure the machine is set-up per the master set-up sheets.
- Present relevant topics to shift employees as needed.
- Maintain daily production reports and review efficiency and scrap reports and track continuous improvements of the shift.
- Conduct frequent safety inspections of all work areas and operations in order to eliminate unsafe conditions.
- Ensure manufacturing conditions are typical of production for pilot runs.
- Material lot control, and traceability, non-conforming product procedures, measurement and checking gauges in order to effectively perform the functions of the job.
- General housekeeping.
- Follow all IATF-16949 / ISO 14001 policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
