Job Description Full Stack Tester
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Full Stack Tester to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of both UI and API layers of applications, with a strong focus on automation and agile practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver for UI testing.
- Perform API testing using the Karate Framework; use Postman for manual API validation when required.
- Write and manage test cases, user stories, and defects in JIRA.
- Validate backend data using basic SQL queries.
- Collaborate with developers, BAs, and other testers in Agile Scrum teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Identify test scenarios and perform both functional and regression testing.
- Ensure traceability of test cases to business requirements.
- Document and communicate testing progress and results clearly.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience in Selenium automation with BDD Framework (Java preferred).
- Strong understanding of testing concepts and SDLC/STLC processes.
- Proficiency in API testing, especially using Karate Framework.
- Experience using Postman for manual API validation.
- Basic understanding of SQL for data verification.
- Familiarity with Agile testing practices and tools like JIRA.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in the Banking domain or financial services testing.
