Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborate with suppliers to design and select packing materials for IC products. Manage supplier documentation, resolve material non-conformance, and support onboarding and third-party supplier coordination to ensure quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with packing material suppliers to design or select suitable carriers for IC products
• Review packing material designs and recommend improvements to enhance functionality and compliance
• Draft, maintain, and update supplier and customer-facing documents related to packing and media
• Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues with supplied materials, ensuring timely completion of corrective actions by suppliers
• Support onboarding activities for new suppliers of packing and labelling materials to ensure smooth integration
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers for reinspection and repacking of IC products to maintain quality standards

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Science Engineering
• Experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically in assembly, test, and packing materials
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD or similar drawing applications with the ability to interpret engineering drawings
