Quality Engineer (m/f)

• Monitor and ensure product conformity and process stability throughout serial production, applying statistical methods (SPC, Cp/Cpk, Pp/Ppk) and quality performance analysis.
• Lead structured problem-solving activities (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa), identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and process variation while improving First Pass Yield (FPY) and overall manufacturing performance.
• Support customer complaint investigations, prepare quality reports, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure their effectiveness.
• Support compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA standards, and customer-specific requirements, including participation in internal and external audits.
• Maintain and improve Control Plans, PFMEA, inspection instructions, and quality records while supporting APQP, PPAP, and engineering change activities.
• Ensure reliable measurement and inspection processes, support calibration and MSA activities, and optimize inspection strategies.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with product technical cleanliness requirements, including particle contamination analysis, cleanliness testing, and evaluation of results against customer specifications. Support the optimization of washing processes, contamination prevention measures, and corrective actions to ensure consistent product cleanliness throughout serial production.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues, improve processes, and strengthen quality awareness across the organization.
• Track quality KPIs, analyze trends, identify recurring issues, and initiate data-driven improvement actions.

Potrebno obrazovanje, znanja i vještine

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or manufacturing process quality.
• Good understanding of quality management systems, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance principles.
• Practical knowledge of inspection methods, measuring equipment, and technical documentation.
• Experience with quality problem-solving methodologies and corrective action management.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and product quality requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
