Quality Engineer Manager - Global Data Center Segment

Join Our Team at Eaton: Empowering Tomorrow, Today!

Dubai serves as a strategic hub for Eaton’s Middle East operations, bringing together commercial, engineering, manufacturing, and support teams within a globally connected business environment. With over 40 years in the region, Eaton has announced a new sustainable campus in Dubai, reinforcing our long‑term investment in growth, collaboration, and capability building.

Eaton’s Global Data Center Segment focuses on helping data centers realize real business benefits today while optimizing their operations for the future. The segment is dedicated to high‑performance, sustainable, and cost‑effective solutions that meet resilience and security standards, accelerating delivery of new services and products worldwide.

We are hiring a Quality Manager – Global Data Center Segment. This senior, globally accountable leader will define, govern, and continuously improve the end‑to‑end quality framework for post‑order execution across Eaton’s Global Data Center Segment.

What you’ll do:

  • Global Quality Strategy & Governance
    • Define and own the global post‑order quality strategy, aligned with segment priorities, customer expectations, and Eaton enterprise standards.
    • Establish and maintain a single global quality framework covering assurance, testing, process compliance, and continuous improvement across regions.
    • Partner with the Post Order Director, Services, Engineering, PMO, OPEX, and regional execution leaders to embed quality expectations into operating models and execution rhythms.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing
    • Lead global assurance and testing methodologies to validate that post‑order deliverables meet defined quality, safety, and reliability standards.
    • Ensure quality gates, reviews, and acceptance criteria are consistently applied across complex, multi‑region data center programs.
    • Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for systemic quality issues, partnering cross‑functionally to prevent recurrence.
  • Process Quality & Standardization
    • Own global process quality for post‑order execution, ensuring that standardized processes are clearly defined, documented, deployed, and adhered to.
    • Work closely with the Quality Analyst – Process and OPEX partners to identify gaps, simplify workflows, and eliminate variation that negatively impacts customer outcomes.
    • Support the evolution of global processes as services scale, new offers are introduced, or customer requirements change.
  • Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
    • Define and monitor global quality KPIs, dashboards, and review cadences that provide transparency into performance, risk, and trends.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, rework, cycle time, and execution risk while improving customer satisfaction.
    • Escalate critical quality risks with clear data, options, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • People Leadership & Capability Building
    • Lead, coach, and develop a small but highly impactful global quality team, including the Quality Analyst – Assurance & Testing and Quality Analyst – Process.
    • Build quality capability across the broader Post Order organization by influencing leaders and teams beyond direct reporting lines.
    • Foster a culture where quality, safety, and accountability are core expectations—not trade‑offs for speed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Operations, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in quality management, operational excellence, or execution leadership within complex, global, engineered‑to‑order or services‑led environments.

Skills:

  • Experience supporting data center, critical power, or infrastructure services.
  • Formal quality or continuous improvement certifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, ISO‑related frameworks).
  • Experience working in or leading teams based in the Middle East or other global hubs.
  • Experience driving standard work and continuous improvement across regions.

Why join Eaton:

  • Competitive compensation and benefits, aligned with experience and impact.
  • Opportunity to work on challenging, high‑impact projects within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
  • Active support for internal mobility and promotion from within whenever possible.
  • Continuous learning, upskilling, and global programs via Eaton University.
  • Reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability at the core of our impact.
  • Health, safety, and wellness are a priority, with tools and environments to thrive.
