Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for payment applications and systems.
• Validate payment message flows for SWIFT MT/MX messages and ISO 20022 message types such as PACS (Payment Clearing and Settlement) and CAMT (Cash Management).
• Review and analyze business and functional requirements to create detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Execute tests to ensure payment processing accuracy, including validation of message transformation, enrichment, routing, and settlement.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools (e. g., JIRA, HP ALM, etc. ).
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and support teams to ensure quality deliverables and timely issue resolution.
• Participate in test planning, test execution, and test closure activities. Ensure compliance with SWIFT and ISO 20022 message standards.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and post-production verification as required.
• Well-versed in different types of transfers, i. e., internal, domestic, and cross-border transfers.
• Good to know "Standing Orders, " "Direct Debit, " and "Term Deposit" concepts.
