Quality Engineer

We at SBUT are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Bhendi Bazaar, South Mumbai. The Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of construction activities, particularly focusing on RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) structures. This position involves conducting thorough inspections and checks throughout the construction process to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities include ensuring Work Inspection Reports (WIR) for all RCC members during casting, conducting Pre and Post checks, and performing Material Inspection Reports (MIRs) for incoming materials at the site. The Quality Engineer will inspect civil and architectural finishing activities according to approved Inspection Test Plans (ITP), drawings, specifications, and method statements. Additionally, the role requires checking workmanship, identifying non-conformities, and managing quality records, including inspection reports and test results. The ideal candidate will have a BE or Diploma in Civil Engineering and hands-on experience in inspecting RCC members. Familiarity with digital quality applications is preferred. The Quality Engineer will also participate in quality audits and assist in preparing compliance reports as per project quality plans.
