About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Engineer (Test Automation) to drive test automation initiatives across functional, regression, and integration testing activities. This role focuses on reducing manual testing effort through robust automation while ensuring compliance with GxP validation requirements.
You will work primarily with Robot Framework and an additional automation tool to support testing across Veeva Vault configuration changes, Vault-to-Vault integrations, and MuleSoft-based integrations. In addition to automation, you will be responsible for producing formal testing documentation and audit-ready evidence required in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and a secondary automation tool
Build automated test coverage for Veeva Vault configuration changes, Vault-to-Vault integrations, and MuleSoft-based integrations
Automate end-to-end functional, regression, UI, API, and data validation testing scenarios
Execute automated regression test suites ahead of each Veeva Vault release cycle and major platform changes
Analyze, report, and triage test execution results
Manage test cases, execution tracking, and defect management within Jira and XRAY
Maintain full traceability from requirements through test cases, execution results, and defects
Prepare and maintain formal testing documentation including Test Plans, Test Scripts, Test Cases, Test Summary Reports, and traceability matrices
Collaborate with Configuration Specialists and Integration Engineers to ensure requirements are testable and automation-friendly
Investigate automation failures and distinguish script or environment issues from genuine application defects
Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution in Jira and XRAY
Continuously expand automated test coverage to reduce reliance on manual UAT and regression testing
Support validation and CSV-aligned testing requirements by producing audit-ready testing evidence
Provide test coverage and test cycle metrics to support CoE governance and reporting activities
Requirements
4-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance
Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Robot Framework test automation
Proficiency with at least one additional automation tool such as Selenium WebDriver, Tosca, or a similar solution
Experience automating UI, API, and data validation test scenarios
Hands-on experience with Jira and XRAY for test management, execution tracking, traceability, and defect management
Experience creating formal testing documentation including Test Plans, Test Summary Reports, and traceability matrices
Experience working within regulated or GxP-compliant environments
Experience testing enterprise SaaS platforms
Basic understanding of API testing and integration validation
Experience working in Agile and Scrum delivery environments with sprint-based execution
Strong written English skills with the ability to create audit-facing documentation
Ability to work independently while following an established testing strategy
Nice to Have
Experience testing Veeva Vault applications
Experience testing MuleSoft-based integrations
Knowledge of CSV/CSA-aligned testing practices and risk-based testing approaches
Experience building reusable automation frameworks and libraries
Robot Framework certification
Selenium certification
Experience supporting validation evidence and audit readiness activities
